All LeiOut 2026 Beach Ultimate divisions play 4v4 (2:2 gender ratio) mixed! Click on each of our divisions below to get a better idea of whether it’s right for your team (or you if you’re an Individual/”Free Agent”). Throughout, we use the terms FMPs and MMPs to denote players’ gender-match:
FMP = Female Matching Player
MMP = Male Matching Player
This division plays 4v4 and uses all of LeiOut’s house rules. This is the only ultimate division with a 12 player roster maximum and the gender split must be within 1 (ex- 6 FMP:5 MMP).
This division attracts players who like to compete at a very high level, but also like to have a great time. No roster caps, but we encourage keeping your gender split within 2.
This division is our most popular. It attracts pickup, league, and club players who want to have a blast but aren’t sure how competitive their squad will be, how hard their squad will party, OR understand there is a 50/50 shot they conquer the party and/or the party will conquer them. No roster caps, but we encourage keeping your gender split within 2.
Our second most popular division. This division attracts pickup and league players, and it is a fantastic place for beginners to be introduced to the ultimate community. If you previously played in our “spirit division” then this is great new home for you! No roster caps, but we encourage keeping your gender split within 2.
Perfect for casual players, corporate teams, and gym teams who only want to commit to one day to competing and mostly want to have fun. Included in this 1-day division is an optional 45 minute group lesson in the morning, 3 or 4 games, event swag, a free beverage, and entry to our infamous Saturday night dance party at a local nightclub. No roster caps, but we encourage keeping your gender split within 2.

You can register as an individual and pick your desired division. As a “Free Agent”, our registration rockstars will do their best to find a team for you close to the division you request. If for some reason we can’t find a team for you by December 15, 2025 then we’ll refund your tourney fee in full.
Free Agents and Spectators need to register too!
The LeiOut team puts a lot of time and energy into making this beloved event fun and magical for everyone, whether they’re playing or not. Both for liability reasons and to enjoy all of the amenities that we provide (bathrooms, water, masseuse, DJ, parties, etc), we require all of your spectator friends and loved ones to be registered.
This registration is for folks (friends, family, significant others, spouses, etc) who are 21+ and want to hang with a team, float around the event either day, and/or just hang out at the LeiOut parties. Spectators can either be signed up as part of a team OR as an individual; the advantage of connecting folks to your team is that we’ll include their event wristband in the team packet to be picked up on Friday, January 16th. No one is allowed in the epic Saturday night party, showcase field & beer garden area or given participant discounts at local venues without registering.
This registration is for children and minors 20 and under (friends, family, etc) who are not playing in the event and will be hanging with your team. Youth Spectators can either be signed up as part of a team OR as an individual; the advantage of connecting folks to your team is that we’ll include their event wristband in the team packet to be picked up on Friday, January 16th. No one is allowed in the showcase field & beer garden area without registering. Additionally, Youth Spectators under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or approved chaperone while at any LeiOut associated event. Guardians/parents should consult the party webpage (expect updates in the beginning of November) to see if any of the party venues allow youth.
