Refund Policy

The following is the refund policy for the 2026 LeiOut event.

Normal refund policy:

Team Fee refunds are available until December 14, 2025 minus a $150 admin fee. Individual refunds (those registered beyond the 10 included with their team’s Team Fee/Registration) are available until December 21, 2025 minus a $30 admin fee; we cannot offer refunds to anyone thereafter. If there is a strange phenomenon (including but not limited to: a tsunami, an AQI issue, or a global health threat) that prompts local, state, and/or national authorities to ban large outdoor gatherings on Huntington State Beach, we’ll refund all fees less nonrefundable expenses.

Refund policy if the Two-Installment Payment Plan is chosen at checkout:

The first 50% payment is nonrefundable; the normal refund policy is not in effect for that 50% of the Fee paid. For example, if a team chooses to withdraw from the tournament on December 14th, they would get 50% of their Team Fee refunded minus the $150 admin fee. The two-installment plan is meant to help those who need a little more time to pay the full amount, but it does create more risk for the event planners; hence the more strict refund policy.
